A community event taking place this January will showcase ambitious multi-million pound projects for Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea.
The Connected Coast Exhibition Event, which is taking place 11am – 2pm on Saturday 11th January at Station Leisure and Learning Centre in Mablethorpe, will feature the exciting projects that have been supported by government funding through the Towns Fund.
This includes the Station Leisure and Learning Centre where the event is being held, and the nearby Campus for Future Living, as well as the Seaview Colonnade which is under development in Sutton-on-Sea.
In addition to finding out about the individual projects, attendees will be also able to take part in tours of the Station Leisure and Learning Centre and the Campus for Future Living. And, there will be fun creative activities for young people to take part in.
At 11.30am, Connected Coast Chair Chris Baron will give a presentation about the investment and impact for the area. Anyone wishing to attend the presentation part of the event can email Connected.Coast@e-lindsey.gov.uk to confirm their place.
Chris Baron said: “We have seen fantastic progress with the projects across Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea over the last year, and this year I’m particularly pleased that for the first time, we will hold our community exhibition event in a building that has seen investment through the Towns Fund.
“The board is very grateful for the support and interest of local people in the exciting work that is being delivered across Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, and we look forward to meeting and speaking to people at this event.
“Please do come along and join us and find out about the difference these projects are making for the area.”
