This project will help to improve and make the most of the Skegness Foreshore by bringing in private sector investment to transform some of the empty sites.
Building on the success of the pedestrianisation of Tower Esplanade, a number of sites – ‘lots’ – have been made available on the Foreshore for private investment. The ambition is to bring in new development and uses on these empty sites so that there can be more on offer here for local people and visitors alike to enjoy. It is hoped that new arts, cultural, heritage, environmental and sporting activities will all be on offer on the Foreshore.
As well as offering more facilities to appeal to people, the overall investment in the Foreshore will also bring more jobs and investment in local businesses.
